La pâtisserie - An Air France Signature

To celebrate 50 years of the Toronto–Paris route, Air France unveils its very first pop-up boutique, La pâtisserie, a signature French gastronomic experience in the heart of Toronto, open from April 25 to May 17, 2026.

For the first time, the gourmet delights of our Business Class are brought from the skies to the ground. The pop-up features a curated selection of pastries crafted by renowned French chefs Yann Couvreur and Laurent Le Daniel (Meilleur Ouvrier de France), within a boutique and lounge inspired by the elegant world of Air France Business Class. Experience the very best of French culinary expertise in a refined and welcoming setting.

Step into an experiential space retracing the 50-year history of the Toronto–Paris route. Discover the evolution of our tableware, menus, collaborations with iconic chefs, and other elements that have shaped the Air France legend.

Meet the chefs and their signature pastries

Discover the artistry of renowned French pastry chefs Yann Couvreur and Laurent Le Daniel, creators of the authentic desserts served in Air France Business Class. For a limited time, savor their refined creations including Lemon Delight, Raspberry & Montélimar Nougat, Chocolate & Caramel, Mango Coco, and Hazelnut. Each pastry highlights the exquisite flavors and creativity of French pâtisserie.

Laurent Le Daniel

Meilleur Ouvrier de France — Pâtisserie Le Daniel (Rennes)

Laurent Le Daniel is originally from Vannes and is passionate about food, particularly pastries. He approaches his craft as an artist, skillfully combining high-quality ingredients, meticulous attention to detail, creativity, and subtle flavors.

Since 2021, he has also served as the President of the National Confederation of Artisan Pastry Chefs, Chocolatiers, Ice Cream Makers, Confectioners, and Caterers of France.

In creating these exclusive desserts, Yann Couvreur drew inspiration from the essence of French pastries: authentic flavors and the integrity of each ingredient. 

His recipes emphasize the simple, genuine, and seasonal ingredients that he enjoys working with.

"I want to showcase products from the French terroir and share my creations with sincerity and high standards with Air France passengers." 

 

Michelin-starred service, day and night

On our daytime flights, we offer a French 5-course meal: aperitif with amuse bouche, appetizer, main course, cheese, and dessert.

On our night flights, we group dinner into 2 courses to optimize your sleep time.

Our dishes are designed by the greatest chefs in French cuisine when departing from Paris and some international stops.
